Welcome to Carraig Liath house. We are a family run bed and breakfast located over looking the picturesque Portmagee Village. We are just over the Bridge on Valentia Island, a short stroll to the Beautiful fishing village. Portmagee itself was voted the top tourist town in Ireland in 2012. Also Valentia Island is world renowned for many things, the Transatlantic cable the Slate quarry and the Tetra pod just to give you a flavour what this unique part of the world has to offer you.

Our house is purpose built to give you all that you would expect from an award winning Bed and Breakfast. However our objective is to ensure that your stay with us lives long in your memory. We are here to serve you and ensure that you enjoy all that Portmagee, Valentia and the greater South Kerry area has to offer. Allied to our main objective is that we are ideally located as a base to visit the famous Ring of Kerry, Wild Atlantic Way or the Skellig Islands an UNESCO heritage site.
